For blade, I think Poseidon seems best, but I still suck at actually using casts
For shield, I like the Chaos aspect and it's the one I'm using rn, but the multiple shields don't always work out. The hidden one seems really cool
For bow, Chiron seems like it could just be nuts, especially for boss battles. Unless I'm misunderstanding the effect. Hidden seems cool too
For fists, Demeter seems good, though it would be a different playstyle than I usually do with the fists. hidden also seems sweet

So I used to think most of the poseidon boons were weak. I mostly just used the dash knockback one because it made movement safer, but on my last run I just kept getting almost all poseidon boons and with the boon that damages when pushing enemies against walls/obstacles, the ||cerberus room|| became insanely easy because the room size was super small and it was so easy to kill all enemies just by dashing, I didn't even need to attack! Then I lost to the final boss because I can't use knock back on bosses LOL

I basically cheesed him with the Shield and Ares special. With the bow I could keep my distance but still barely beat him and I also almost had him with the fists

But with the sword I just felt helpless so far.

With melee weapons on later chambers it always seem to end in an incredibly messy affair to me and usually involves me spamming dash like a madman to avoid things

Theseus and Minotaur is one you can learn pretty well with time. Take out Minotaur first (you don’t want a charging bull when dealing with Theseus phase 2)

When dealing with Theseus, you get a little crosshair on you when he’s going to throw the spear. So keep relative awareness of which direction he’s in and dash behind a pillar when he’s about to throw

Can't seem to give nectar to Thanatos. He just disappears when I meet him in a run, and he doesn't show-up at the end of the hall anymore (nor around the house for that matter). Managed to do it once for the keepsake. Took it for granted that I saw him all the time, now I don't see him at the halls at all.

If you want to test out aspects

Go to courtyard, spend the blood, DO NOT GO INTO BEDROOM. Go on a run to test, then either altf4 before death or Give up to revert save back to courtyard save. No blood spent/committed. That run never existed so you can try things out before saving/committing

Most aspects require investment before they get significantly good, but all aspects are perfectly capable of beating the game at level 1

The -ammo hurts.

The Cluster Bomb / Rocket Bomb combo can also get ludicrous.

With Eris in particular, but on it's own it's also incredibly brutal with any aspect.
