It's weird: I find the Rail super situational - I don't like it in general, but if I get specific Hammer upgrades, it's actually very nice. (One of my 3 escapes was in one of those situations, which I still find odd, as I've not escaped with Varatha yet, and I'm more consistent with the spear than the Rail in general.)

My escape was basically with a Dyonisus standard attack speed build which was pretty nice, it basically shredded bosses and thanks to the poison I was able to be more mobile

I have this weird problem that I'm really good with the Stygius (I've been enjoying ||Arthur|| at the moment)... except for at the Final Boss, where I basically get taken apart, even if I've had a good time with boss 3.
(I think part of the problem is that the approach you need to use makes my hand hurt weirdly, so by the Final Boss, I'm getting twinges. But it's not just that, it just seems like the approach I take through the rest of the game just doesn't work in the last encounter.)

I think part of the problem is that my timing is just slightly off with dodges, and that matters more with Stygius than with, say, Varatha.
(and given that the other weapon I have problem with there, which I'm relatively better with everywhere else, is Malphon, I think that's definitely part of it, on consideration)
(but also, I might just try walking away for 30 minutes before the final fight to let my hands stop hurting....)

as far as i remember you can't trade for titan blood before you get your first clear, and you get titan blood from final boss as well as the furies
so once you do your first clear it'll be way easier to get titan blood a bunch of different ways

However, the bounties track separately with each weapon, so you can get more by beating the game on 0 heat with one of the other weapons, although of course that will only work 6 times. If you’re struggling, consider turning on god mode.
It’s perfectly possible to finish the game and epilogue without using heat at all.||

Duck behind the pillar(s) whenever Theseus is readying his spear (target on you). After he throws, he’ll walk away from you giving you a chance to strike.
When the bull is charging at you, run to a pillar and dash through it to the other side right before he’d hit you so he crashes.

It's a super fringe case but if you have a run where you care about getting Zeus boons and nothing else, then it could theoretically maybe be worthwhile. I'd still rather take other things though.
The god gets forced to appear until you pick one of their boons. If you have the Poseidon keepsake equipped, and you pick up a Poseidon boon from any source, that's it.
There is a number under the keepsake, it will vanish once it's used up. After that it's good for the rarity and nothing else.

Kinda. Naturally the game will give you new gods until you have four. If you start with, say, Athena, then she's one of the four in the pool.
So she has a higher chance to show up again.

Pretty good to make your build stronger as you get more run-specific rewards, so more power ups. Makes it harder to get meta-resources though, if you still need the stuff from the blue doors you shouldn't really use it.
Also you get less keys during the run, so less rerolls, which does kinda hurt.
