Spear aspects are all viable. Zag really wants a few select hammers to function really well, Achilles is mostly meant for casts, Hades can be a bit awkward to use, Hidden Aspect is very strong but comes with a fairly significant drawback.

Rarity is pretty much always the better call. Say you get a boon that gives +50% attack. Both rarity increase and pom will get it to +75%. However, if you do it with a pom, next pom will only be +90% power, while if you do the rarity increase, the next pom will get it to +100% (numbers are fake obviously, but you get the idea).
Level increase for 4 boons is usually the least interesting choice. Rarity increase for 2 is pretty good if you have few boons (so your better ones are more likely to be chosen) and next 3 boons have increased rarity is better if you have lots of boons already.

I don't agree with that. They're all excellent choices in different situations.
Refreshing Nectar is ideal for hunting Duo Boons or Legendary Boons.
Pom Porridge often has a much better chance of actually hitting the boons you want than Ambrosia Delight.
higher rarity variants have much higher base stats out of the gate and gain more from level ups
Rarity bonus and pom bonus are additive. So poms are unaffected by rarity.

Yup. When I met Eurydice I usually have the boons I need, so pomming up all of them becomes quite appealing. Plus if I happen to run into her late the rarity increase is dope, but the odds of it actually hitting the few boons that I really care about is slim. I usually take the poms.

There’s also some better deals to take advantage of in the bottom of the trader’s options.

@cosmic willow the line isn’t really clear at all so you may just have to figure it out by feel. Just try to use maximum range on your weapons? And use long ranged weapons. Unsure on if the rail works but it might with some hammers

High-skill tip is to focus down Theseus because it reduces his attack to mainly just his easily i-framed spin, and you'll never lose sight of him, plus Asterius stays very close, so you can easily hit both a lot. But if you're still learning the fight at all, you 100% want to learn Asterius's moveset first. If you get the miniboss fight with him, you can practice just evading his attacks consistently without going for Attacks. Then in the fight vs Theseus, do the same again but behind some pillar away from Theseus, then once Asterius is down, focus on just avoiding attacks from Theseus at close range. This way you get to really practice the fight and can easily see the moments where they take some time to recover and you have an opening to attack safely.
Once you're used to both, you can focus on taking down both at the same time while focusing on Theseus.
If you're worried about Asterius's bull charge, fight him between a pillar and the wall, then just dash through him when he comes at you. So you would have a pillar to your left and the wall to your right or vice versa. He'll try to do a 180 and crash into either the pillar or the wall.

Theseus will always turn his back to you after a spin or throw from him.
So that's your chance to attack.
