The way that it typically works for strike and special is that

Aside from that like, casts really depend on the other boons you have because you’re often either specificially building for a cast on a cast-based aspect, or otherwise just trying to avoid opening unnecessary duos

fists you can go for merciful end, ares attack + athena special -> get the duo, get divine dash.
ME makes deflect damage drop the doom immediately, so you want to dash strike everything basically once you get the duo and dash online. athena special is just to open up the duo since ME has super strict prereq conditions
you can also do zeus attack with static discharge, then find either aphrodite or artemis to open up their duos. with aphrodite, you need a call first and you'd ideally go for zeus or dio call. with artemis, you need infernal soul in the mirror
for sword, you can also go for ME, same principles. other builds would be (on nemesis) heart rend or deadly reversal. aphrodite attack/special, then the other god on the opposite. with deadly reversal, divine dash doesn't open the duo but it is useful, but not as necessary as ME.

fist hammer you ideally go for breaching cross, but long knuckle is good too

for sword, you basically only want double edge

on the non-ME builds, you can also go for tidal dash for raw damage

shield, you basically need either the charged shot hammer or pulverizing blow hammer to make it good. throw aphrodite attack on it, then do your own thing lmao. build into the aphro-zeus duo by getting zeus call if you want

tidal dash for funsies, but prob would make using pulverizing blow harder to play

The small rats die in one hit so for slower attack speed weapons your best bet is to use the damage from a dash boon. For the big rats you either kill them at range, or with a short range weapon you try and kill them before they put the poison on the ground

What’s going to work is going depend for each weapon tbf but in general fast strikes and specials want flat damage sources like zeus/hangover/doom(with Merciful End) while the slower higher base damage ones take better advantage of +% strikes and flourishes from the goddesses
