Zeus attack

Aphrodite/Artemis on special (Aphrodite let’s you go for the smoldering air duo so it’s recommended)
And Poseidon dash for damage

For newbies you can swap the dash to Athena if you prefer

TWO

merciful end

It’s the duo boon between Athena and Ares that makes it so doom effects do more damage and proc INSTANTLY

Get ares attack

Rush Athena special

Look to get the duo boon at EVERY chance

If ur not offered the duo, get Athena dash

Repeat till you get it

Hardest to get but does the most damage with great safety

3:

Dionysus attack

Aphrodite special

Ares revenge boon

Grab ANY duo boon you see that involves some variation of these three

Make your hangover stacks hit hard and Pom the attack

OVERVIEW:
ZAP is the most consistent
MERCIFUL END is the riskiest with highest reward

||Each new Heat bounty you do will reset the rewards you get from bosses. Furies and Hades will drop Blood, Hydra will drop diamonds, and the Heroes will drop Ambrosia. This is on a per-weapon basis, so doing 1 heat with the Sword will not affect the Bow or Shield's rewards. A lot of pacts can be pretty easy, like Tight Deadline. You can start simmering up in the heat pretty easily. Making the shop charge a bit more probably won't change your run much at all, for example. And Extreme Measures 2 can genuinely be an easier Hydra fight than normal.||

Random map generation, Permadeath, Turn-based combat, Grid-based movement, "complexity to allow multile solutions", "non-modal, so that all actions can be performed at any time", resource management, and hack and slash combat. There is no Roguelike in existence that actually meets all of these criteria.

(Again, except Rogue. But having a genre that is just Rogue is very silly).

Getting your build together early is so massive for damage that not taking god keepsakes for the first two zones is like massive opportunity cost, and then beyond that like utility works very well for Elysium to help boost your power a little more (purse for obols, or hourglass to get long lasting buffs from wells that’ll make it to the Hades fight)

and then since there really aren’t any good damage keepsakes the best keepsakes for dad are defensive and Acorn can easily save you 200+ hp
