You can only shift the seed by having blood stones hit the floor / breaking pots/ summoning and reloading
and each one of those actions shifts the seed by the same value so
You have to shift it a different amount of times before you grsb the anvil/heart of stone/ eurydice rarity upgrade
typically start at 0 and work your way up by one more shift each time
First time: cast 0 times
2nd: cast once and let the bloodstone hit the floor
3rd: cast twice, etc
it can get really old really fast

It’s like a 1/32 chance to not get the hammer off within 32
now getting a specific combo of hammers from the anvil on the other hand is way rarer
less practical or time efficient
same reason to not do it on bouldy since heart of stone is such a small boost anyways 💀
Eurydice can be really valid if you have greatest reflex or rush delivery from hermes, or a really good rarity scaling boon like curse of agony or static discharge
but usually refreshing nectar is just more useful
Oh and I missed like the most practical usage of rng manipulation ☠️ bad c2 chaos
if you get a chaos portal in the first chamber of the run, and you go in and dislike his options
You can do this same tactic since the seed will be exactly the same until you pick up the chaos boon
so you can just shift rng until chaos gives u a good boon / without a horrid curse

yeah but it’s consistent enough with your tools the game gives you
between god keepsakes, fated persuasion, and knowing how the game’s boon rolling/god pool system works
you can pretty consistently get most of the boons you want and usually the ones that you need
And most builds that aren’t merciful end won’t fall apart if you’re missing a duo or auxilary boon

And forced overtime makes enemies spawn faster, move to you faster (so you waste less travel time), and attack faster for any zeus builds (since static discharge does a fair bit of your dps)
