The keepsake order that's really consistent is taking a god keepsake into Tartarus to start your build right, a secod keepsake into Asphodel to finish your build/get the secondary god you want if you didn't find them in Tartarus, and then you take tooth or acorn or whatever into Ely and Styx

#

this is the point where learning what builds work with which weapons really matters

#

you also probs want to get far enough into the mirror to unlock Family Favorite, and max out your Death Defiances, Boiling Blood and Infernal Soul as a priority

#

as well as Deep Pockets + Thick Skin

Shield is really safe for new players because it can block, and when you unlock the fists it's a good basic aspect as well due to the stunlock mechanic

#

Bow is definitely a really good weapon tho, so if you like using it, you can put blood into it

Well the advantage of doing it for the first time is having as much time as you need, make it a one hour run, if doesn’t matter that much, take your time and you can do that very good with the Zeus shield

stuff for which the reasons to switch round to 0 are dark foresight, ruthless reflex, abyssal blood, golden touch, privileged status, olympian favor, and fated authority

Dionysius also good, especially if you can pick up scintillating feast.

#

Sea storm with Poseidon cast similarly good.

And there's always Demeter and crystal beam.

So lots of choice for good cast builds depending on your play style

Look for glowing spot in a chamber > interact > wait for blob to fully sink (has a white flash along it) > press interact. Can deliver fish to the cook in the house, rewards depends on rarity of fish/where you got it

If a chamber has a fishing spot there's also a ding sound either at the start or end of the chamber

Has spoilers for the hidden aspects and maybe 2 post credit keepsakes though

The short version for most is
Slow weapon, big dmg = grab some % boon
Fast but weak = go flat dmg like zeus or dio

#

And once you get the codex upgrade to see the boon list you can start aiming for more specifics

The duo boon is, that everything you do that deflects automatically activated doom, without having to wait, so you wanna first take ares attack, Athena special then Athena dash and merciful end, the last two can be in whatever order you want iirc

#

So once you have all that, you just attack dash and repeat

First ares keepsake and hope for Athena boons and then probably also Athena keepsake in asphodel, if you don’t have all boons yet

I don't how much game knowledge you have, but I'll say it also helps to know how to build Chiron effectively so you can kill more quickly, allowing yourself less time for mistakes

dealing damage/hitting enemies fills up the bar
you can use it at each interval given(generally 25% of the big bar) for a decent effect, like zeus summoning constant lightning.
if you use it at all max charge, youll get a "greater call", which has more than 4x the boost(excluding status effects)

||the game will always give you heat reward of the lowest tier you haven't done. So if you've beaten heat 5, and then go to heat 10, you will get heat 6 reward. Run after that you would have to do at least 7 to get another reward ||

side note:
heroics can only be obtained through effects that upgrade the rarity of existing boons(so one eury effect works, the other doesnt) and replacements(ex: heartbreak flourish can be heroic if replace divine flourish)
