1.Ambrosia is used to earn ||companions|| from 6 of the characters that give you a new ability when unlocked, and can then be leveled, costing 15 ambrosia each, so 16 per companion, 1 to unlock and 15 to upgrade. To give ambrosia to someone you must give them nectar to max out your relationship then you can give them an ambrosia.
- ||Hades|| chamber is unlocked via normal story progression, just keep playing and itl happen
3.To unlock 4th aspect, you need to first put 5 titans blood into the spear, and then talk to achillies between runs until he gives you a ||waking phrase||, then interact with spear and you will have the 4th aspect. You have to do the spear first, then put 5 blood into each weapon and speak to whichever character will give you the ||waking phrase||

Do keep in mind, since usually you're gonna be taking miniboss rooms first, the rest will be normal rooms, and styx normal rooms are a pain, they take a lot of time and you're more likely to just take a lot of damage in the process

At the very start they can be tougher because they are indeed tanky, so it's a dps check. But later on, when you start getting better builds and your dps improves, it's much easier and faster. There are also a few upgrades that will help you with them, regardless of build.

The game keeps offering you new gods until you have 4, excluding Hermes. Then you'll only see those 4 gods. This is not a hard cap and you can force more or sometimes get 5+ naturally but it's relatively rare.

Before you start the run you'll want to have a good idea of what your build should look like by the end. That means which gods contribute massively to your build etc. When the run starts you'll just prioritize getting them over others. And if you need more of them then you'll prioritize just getting whatever so you fill your pool and stop seeing gods outside of it. Generally speaking, starting boons like to be pommed a couple of times, so poms are very valuable early on. You'll learn how to optimize your builds more and more through practice and doing more runs.

Keys are very good later on. But yea, the mirror is huge and you'll want to max it asap. The darkness you get from rooms is very little tho, your main source is actually bosses.

I've almost did it once recently when I used the hidden aspect of spear for the first time , I've lost my DDs but I happened to save some obols when Styx came up and ended up buying 2 DDs from the wells in the Styx rooms and also ended up defeating redacted surprisingly

Poseidon is fine to invest into imo, it still can cover some dmg without a cast and is ideal for retrieving casts. Just not Sword++ or anything.

I think I have finally gotten the hang of how this game works
I can consistently reach and clear Styx and have beat the final boss 4 times out of the past 6 runs. Granted it is with godmode enabled and at a high damage reduction (like 70%) if I remember correctly but I'm hesitant to turn it back off because I feel like I'll be steamrolled even before reaching Elysium. Should I just turn it off and go for it or first get even better at the game with godmode on?

God mode is just damage reduction so you can try if you're struggling a lot. If it's your first time dying in Elysium I say wait a bit and give it more tries

If you have a cast build, you need some casts for the other heads.
You also need to output damage while avoiding its rather heavy damage, often, or other changing mechanics.
Like you really shouldnt try to attack during the headslams. Just dodge out of the area. Cast if you can I guess.
You also may have to change your focus to summons

for spear a dash strike has like an aoe
sort of teardrop shape
for shield it'll be a horizontal swipe instead of a bash
for bow it charges faster and does a little less damage
