kill bull first, stay nearish the sides so when he charges he's more likely to ram into the walls
try to keep a pillar between you and theseus so you dont get hit by his spear, otherwise be mindful of the target on your head

after theseus' spear throw, he walks the other way for about 3 or so steps so that's plenty of time to attack
when he spins, you can dash behind him during or after his spin
when he starts phase 2 with the god call, he just stands there so he's free pickings. you can get him to like 25% hp or so if you just smack him while his god call is going off

if I may add to this; using a god's call (when their gauge is maxed out) can shave off like half of Theseus' health, so if he's standing still and the god gauge is maxed out I enjoy hitting him with Aphrodite's call for example

In terms of the lava chip damage, as dumb as it sounds: practice. Try focusing on staying out of lava first, dodging shots second, and dealing damage third. Once you got the hang of it it'll be second nature and you can start focusing more and more on the damage dealing part.

my issue right now is 80% theseus and asterius + 20% final boss. Usually able to get through the first two ~~acts ~~ biomes without using a DD but even if I get the ~~act ~~ biome 3 help I still lose 2+ DDs against the heroes. Usually the temple is a breeze. Idk ¯_(ツ)_/¯

kill bull first, stay nearish the sides so when he charges he's more likely to ram into the walls
try to keep a pillar between you and theseus so you dont get hit by his spear, otherwise be mindful of the target on your head
after theseus' spear throw, he walks the other way for about 3 or so steps so that's plenty of time to attack
when he spins, you can dash behind him during or after his spin
when he starts phase 2 with the god call, he just stands there so he's free pickings. you can get him to like 25% hp or so if you just smack him while his god call is going off. if you have a god call, make sure to save some charge for when this happens for free damage

tbh I've just been trying different things out for now. I like weak on the attack, hangover and lightning dont feel great with lower attack speed and knockback often means they move out of range after I hit them so I can't keep hitting them

Well the issue with the shields special is that when you use it you cant block or do anything so you're very vulnerable

And it takes a while to get back

#

Generally people don't use the special for shield unless it's Zeus shield because of that
The special isn't a lot of dps to begin with and you can easily do more without using the special

Try Sword or Fists (if you have fists) and try for a run where you get Area, Demeter and Artemis. Get Demeter’s cast and I think just any main Artemis boon and try for their duo boon, then use Ares for most everything else. That’s my opinion at least

That depends on how far in the game you are. I’d use Cerberus’ until you get out of Elysium, and then I personally switch to Lucky Tooth but people always say “use acorn” and I haven’t leveled it up yet

I personally go for RNG. I like the randomness, and god keepsakes don’t offer anything other than “oh hey I’ll be in the next boon you find and hey maybe it’ll be a rare” which just means I’ll die faster

game is pretty hard and giving me frustrations. i turned on god mode and already got like 70% reduction (plus 30% from the shield trinket) but I still failed on Hades. i just randomly died, maybe for story's sake? idk what happened. I beat him. but then i died.
now idk what to make of it.
everyone on steam keeps telling me that the Average Player takes 30-ish tries for the "tutorial" to finish. idk if i can even get that

There are many combos that work very well, and there are also overall good practices you can use to make the best of whatever boons you are offered, even if RNG is not cooperating

im just ... sick of disliking games.
hades needs to work out. i loved the first few hours so much.
i thought this was The Best Game. but then it stopped giving me weapons and the story stopped. and i couldnt get past theseus for a week.
now im using god-mode, desperately, and it doesn't even help me. its not enough help.
i fear im too old for games. i cant find games that i like anymore.
sure i have some i like, but they are short story games. you cant play those a lot.
i thought i could play hades a lot. but its also more repetetive than i thought.
it wasnt at first.
everytime you died, you get a new story bit, a new power or item or weapon.
now im just getting failure. it feels bad. i dont wanna feel bad.

if you have the mirror upgrade Boiling Blood, it's good to lodge the cast into a boss or armored enemies so you can deal more damage to them

i heard this game was hard. when i saw it had this "easy mode", i was hopeful.
when i saw that 50% of players on steam managed to clear the attempt, i was hopeful.
But as i went on, i realised, in on the other half of those 50%.
i did not clear it.

Constantly avoid her upfront attack since it is worse than Megara's, with Tisifone it's better to attack from behind. I try to stay far enough when she uses the green bombs, better to wait for the chance to hit, long distance weapons are better in my opinion. Uhhhh can't think on anything else at all
