hey I just maxed out all weapon aspects and returned to the main hall. I saw that Hades had an "!" above his head, but the dialogue was the same as always and the "!" disappeared (even when I returned after my next run). Does this mean that I missed dialogue due to a bug or is it just a visual glitch I should pay no mind to?

Is there a specific trigger for the epilogue that might be missed by playing from early access? I assumed I needed to hit all of the dialogue from ||Hades and Persephone||, but they haven't had anything left to say after runs. I've completed at least 45 runs since v1.0 and I'm only missing full bond with ||Hypnos and Demeter||.

@round moat ||there shouldn't be anything from Early Access preventing you from triggering the epilogue quest thing. Here's a great guide to see if you meet all requirements for triggering the epilogue (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2232655399), after that I think it might just be RNG.||

As for Hypnos' favor: just keep playing.
The dialogue that's needed to unlock his heart seems to have very low priority (that's how it seemed to me anyway), so if any of the characters needed to progress it have anything else to say, then that will probably occur first.

If you started up the game at one point, it be like "can't get that connection going for you," then you later play the game again and it ask which save: Local or Cloud. Just pick the one that's most recent, which is sometimes the local files. Still a little confused but that's probs all it is.

@manic cave I got my first clear in about... 10 runs? But I think my Dead Cells experience helped a lot. If it takes a lot more, don't worry. It's a game that's meant to be played over and over, improving as you go. I just took encounters with Darkness for the first 30 or so runs every time I saw them so I could level everything up and that helped a lot.

Those runs are the best. I think the key for me was unlocking Death Defiance ASAP. I just focused on taking every every encounter that rewarded keys and darkness. I'm in the middle of a run right now, but I want to check because everyone saying 30 really has me doubting myself 😂
I also play exclusively with the weapon that currently has the 20% darkness bonus.

Telling dusa "I'll talk to hypnos so no one else has to" or than "you're mean to hypnos, and that's coming from someone who's mean to hypnos a lot" is absolutely mean-spirited and is something that frankly made me disappointed in zag. he goes well out of his way for everyone else, but can't talk to hypnos without being mean about it? Yeah no I don't like that.

My issue is I disagree with how he/his arc is handled and I find it hypocritical that issues with other characters are dealt with through a steady build up of conversation but with hypnos it's just, oh we're mean to him because he doesn't do his work, and now he's organizing lists and suddenly everything is okay, except nothing really got addressed in any meaningful way and all of the blame went on hypnos
