I'm reposting it now because I've been ignored the first time and with every thing I read my situation seems more to be a bug : I've maxed out every relation but Hermes' and Hypnos' which are still locked, I've seen many discussion between Thanatos and Hypnos and now Hypnos only tells me casual things when I die and I tried to speak to Hermes with the lvl3 plume but same casual dialog.

I just got the ||epilogue||. You need various relationships maxed, talking to ||Demeter and Zeus|| and getting RNG dialogue, talking to Nyx, and ||Persephone gives the quest to get ready for the Epilogue event||

For Hypnos, you need to do ||RNG dialogue of him talking to Thanatos and then patching up their relationship||

@normal kiln ||I feel like Hades would but that's based entirely on the fact that he can do far more than Charon. I mean, Charon hits hard, but that's about it, as far as power dynamics go. I'd also assume that Charon's space in Erebus is where he's most strongest (but I could assume the three Rivers that connect to Styx is where his strength actually lies.||

@drifting panther I ask because Eurydice is a wood nymph and wood nymphs, at least to me, are often synonymous with "dryads." The "mermaid" or sea nymph wouldn't necessarily need to be an actual "half-fish half-woman" deal. It could be something as creative as Eurydice's design, where they have some noted traits common of fishes/merfolk, but be a humanoid figure with maybe a few fins and scales on their arms and legs. And maybe Poseidon's liquid hair.

anyways I do have a spoilery question about story myself: ||How do I get a bond forged with mom? I have given her all the nectar she would take but I don't get the option anymore. Usually archs like these are codependant on other charakters if I am not mistaken. For example Nyx will only get rolling once you have spent enough time with Chaos and so on. Problem is, every other relationship is maxed out and I feel like I am in the last bits of new stuff from the epilogue. What am I missing? does anyone know?||

@stark mulch the game literally isn't coded to take affinity into consideration for boon appearance, it's just a coincidence. if you pick up a boon you have a chance to continue finding more of that god in your run, but by the same token you can also pick up a god and never see them again on that run, I've had that happen before too with a forced keepsake appearance lol

Gilgamesh is fine. All you have to do is Dash, Special, and then make sure you don't take any damage before they implode.

After you finish the prophecies related to those aspects, it's up to you if you like the aspect enough to invest more titan blood into them. :3

Your Attack is a swipe instead of a forward punch. Your Dash-Special "Maims" enemies, meaning they'll deal damage like if you had an Ares Doom curse on them, except tehy can temporarily do more damage to you for a few seconds.

Attack is a laser beam and Special is, what I think is, a Sun Bomb that you can destroy with your laser and cause explosions at the immediate area. Definitely okay for constantly moving enemies.

yeah lucifer "ramps up", but you can take a hammer which gives infinite ammo but makes it no longer ramp which makes it pretty weak. Can be good if you go full in on zeus attack, but generally to be avoided because you can do more damage without it and can cancel a reload with a dash or special or whatever anyway

lucifer also has the advantage of not needing any extra titan blood post unlocking it to be good unless you want to do a full on special build

@fossil sentinel you get a randomized tiny buff for the entirety of the run. You can repeatedly give him nectar and get a tiny buff. It can range from an Attack buff, Special buff, increase in Move speed, increase in Obols, I think there's one for damage reduction/resistance.

So, changes:

Special after Bull Rush now throws all extra ("Shadow") shields in a cone pattern, up to approx. 60°
Shadow shields do not bounce, but if they don't hit anything, they will return directly to Zag
Main shield still bounces, as normal

thoughts, from a feedback post I never ended up sending: @split kelp

Overall: I like the new Special. It's visually more clean, and feels a bit more unique than just "more shields."

Look: Clearly distinct "shadow" shields, and overall a new animation for it. Absolutely love it.

Spread: The spread feels a bit different, but much more natural. Can still shotgun if I hit at just the right angle, but honestly don't feel like I need to.

Range: I like that the "shadow" shields don't fly as far as the real one. It means that you can't hide in a corner and get the full benefit of the Chaos Aspect, but if you play a bit closer to enemies, you still get your full damage output. Also enhances the visual different between the "real" and "shadow" shields.

Return Time: The "real" shield can still take quite a bit of time to return to Zag. However, the longest it's taken so far is less than half as long as the longest it had required previously. Plus, on average, there's almost no extra downtime as compared to the Zagreus Aspect.

Additional thoughts I'm writing up now:
Yes, this was a nerf.

Previously, you could hit any enemy from anywhere in the room, with all of the shields. So that's a range nerf.

Because the shields naturally fly in a spread pattern, you can't truly "shotgun" them (i.e., get all 6 shields to fly together). So that's a burst damage nerf.

However, the Chaos Shield was unequivocally the strongest weapon in the game, by a hefty margin. It had the perfect block of the shield, high burst damage on the special, and massive range. While this change was slightly against the true theme of the Aspect (that of Chaos' nature), it still holds to the theme--throwing 6 shields instead of 1 is pretty chaotic if you ask me. In addition, the playstyle that the Chaos Aspect promotes is highly chaotic, in the form of constantly cycling between dashes, bull rushes, and special.
