Beowulf is quite different - you take more damage by default and don't block when charging - and casts behave differently, being centered around the point of impact of the bull rush. Takes a lot of getting used to if you already played with other shields before. I recommend going with Infernal Soul if you use it.

Because what I wanted to get was an Archimedes aspect that's the focus for the sun laser. It would've taken more damage & couldn't block, but the bull rush would change to be a low damage, quickly ramping laser

@onyx river one thing someone on the discord said is that the trigger won't ever appear in shops right before a boss. Not sure if that's true, but anecdotally that makes sense as I usually skip shops to save money and so have barely seen the trigger.
