I wouldn't say it's difficult, but it's very long if you don't have high DPS. Asterius by himself isn't so hard to deal with

I wonder if the game / a character will at one point comment on the fact that Theseus is using a boon. It essentially means the gods who all appear sooo eager to see Zag join them on Olympus, but apparently have no problems lending their hand to people trying to keep Zag in the underworld.

Fair enough. I think it could be interesting to see what Hades' boon effects could transpire as. Maybe use them in the time trial rooms and have effects go off, similar to the effects that occur when you enter a room with two boons and the one you don't pick first gets upset.

Granted, I suppose the implication could be that enemies spawning in the first place is Hades' doing.

going for the 5% crit on artemis, tied to the artemis debuff that increases crit chance, results in some pretty insane enabling of crit. The dual debuff, weak vulnerability, and crit chance multipliers really racks up the amount of damage you're dealing. There's some crazy synergy to be had.

Go towards a pillar and dash through it, it usually works for me

Always move perpendicular to Theseus and try to dash through a pillar if Asterius is charging

Moving perpendicular helps you avoid spear WHILE keeping distance from Asterius

Am I missing something or do the giant silver spearheads Theseus sometimes summons as his Olympian wrath not fit any of the established gods' aesthetic? I've seen them twice now and both times he didn't seem to utter a specific god's name before summoning them, so I'm wondering if this is a preview of the next update.

It's definitely not Artemis. I've seen him use Artemis's favour and not only is the pattern of the attacks different, but they come with her signature green colour and flourish. The attack I'm talking about comes with an effect that doesn't seem to be consistent with any of the current Olympians.

Nope. It's a pattern of large, static silvery circles from which emerge large spearheads/arrowheads. It's not Artemis, Ares, or Poseidon. I haven't seen Dionysus or Zeus yet, but it's clearly neither of them. It could be Athena or Aphrodite for all I know, so if you've seen those you could confirm whether their effects look like that.

No, it's a regular grid pattern but with large circles, rather than Ares's more crowded grid. Yeah, I guess it has to be Athena; it's just odd that 1) Theseus doesn't seem to invoke her name and 2) her circles doen't seem to be her typical golden colour.
