hades clearly uhh trusts thanatos in a way he doesn't trust hypnos or zag, which means thanatos can get away with more but also is in more danger if hades does find out he's helping zag out

thanatos was straight-up lying to cover for the fact that he's occasionally taking time out of his work to help you

basically, i can't imagine it being a thing from a daedalus hammer, it sounds like a lot of work in terms of visual representation, would you need to animate every character to be pinnable? you'd have to programm every wall-like surface to allow mobs to be pinned to?

While the "pinning enemies to walls" is a fun idea, I am against replacing the current hammer upgrades. Just add more, why would you want to replace an upgrade that's similar on two completely different weapons? These upgrades don't make the weapons the same despite their similarities.

So, I recalled the spear from behind the Hydra's head and it doesn't seem to apply the backstab bonus, like with the other enemies.
I seem to remember it applying in the previous patch, unless I'm wrong... I sent a bug report, anyone know whether or not backstab is supposed to apply there?
I mean, the numbskulls don't have a "back" either but it applies on them and backstab applies on the gorgon and the furies, so I don't see why it shouldn't apply on the Hydra.

It does get too hectic at times, especially when multiple projectiles occupy the screen. The recent addition of ranged enemy types isn't kind to lower-end PC setups.

This is a great opportunity to share my knowledge about Asphodel pillars

#

All pillars have the potential to give money. Typically between 3 and 5 pillars will drop obol before they all stop. They can also be caused to stop their drops before the number cap if you take too much damage or too many waves have elapsed (not sure on the exact requirements for this mechanic)

#

So my advice is to try and break pillars before the actual combat starts

#

If one doesn't drop obol when fully broken, then none of them will

you can only get money from breaking stage objects (except gold pots) only before/during combat. You can break about 8-9 (which is a lot)in my experience before that room stops giving gold for breaking structures.

Get the athena/artemis duo boon that makes your deflects give guaranteed crits, take deflect on either cast (for a truly stupid amount of damage when it hits) or dash (for uptime) and just go ham on them. I got my crits up to 780 once, without backstabs. With backstabs was around 1000
