Dunno how much you already know about the weapon, but basically:
Hestia is Tidal Dash start, get Artemis attack asap, then Aphro special (or Athena to a lesser extend)
Get Ricochet/Piercing/Targeting/Hazard Hammer
Get Heart Rend or Deadly Reversal duo boons
Chaos attack and dash-strike boons are very strong
Almost always shoot and reload, except sometimes for the weakest ennemies in Tartarus
Use your dash to finish off ennemies and kill the weakest one
Try to get Rush Delivery from Hermes
Gameplay: almost always shoot and reload, use your dash often for damage, special ~ every 2 reload

There’s a lot of ways to go. Almost every attack related hammer has something that gets busted when added to zag bow
Twin shot is a flat +100% attack damage and +100% crit chance, Chain shot gives bow attack some much needed multi-target damage and theoretically gives 200% extra crit chance across 3 enemies. Explosive fire turns Zag’s attack into Rama’s, which needs no explanation on Nemesis Bow, same for perfect shot and point blank shot. Flurry fire is a nice, versatile hammer that synergizes well with twin or chain to increase your mobility.
The list goes on. Bow has great hammers in general, but zag bow salivates after the attack hammers in particular

This is the classic combo with Zag aspect. You can pretty much melt bosses, and combo gives you access to stun locking. Flurry can stun lock by itself but the damage is relatively poor.
I would say flurry as a first hammer isn't really great to take though.
Charged+Relentless Volley with Deadly Flourish is also another route you can take the aspect. A lot less consistent and no range, but still good.

honestly i just did it by going through the heat bounties

but i think it takes like 500 or 1000 gems for 1 titans blood

Aside from the broker, there's really only one way to obtain blood, which is beating Hades and Meg. If your main goal is just the blood, you should disregard heat and which weapon has dark thirst, and just clear heatless with every weapon. Then, find whichever 1 heat condition is easiest for you and clear with every weapon using that.
You can get an average of 1 blood every 20-25 minutes
Assuming that a clear takes 40-50

Okay, so I'm trying to do a run where I fight the final boss with no Olympian boons. Chaos, Charon, Aspects, all those are fine, and I've found the Nemesis Aspect of Stygius with Shackle and Hoarding Slash keeps up the best without boons...

I've tried the run 5 times now (5 heat, Extreme Measures 2 + Underworld Customs/Middle Mangement) and every times the only purging fountains I found were the ones in the fountain rooms at the end of each zone. Is the generation of the rooms and their features at least partially dependent on how may boons you have? If not, how on earth did this happen?

The only thing Hermes keepsake does in terms of his boons is that it can give you access to his legendaries without the usual prerequisites for them
Hermes legendaries are still stupidly rare though I have not seen either of them

I’m terrible with guan yu but I’ve only had success spamming special and putting strong boons like Artemis special on it rather than actually healing
