That should be an easy enough heat combo that I think you’d adjust to very quickly that you can farm for many levels of blood

It's the weirdest one. Your special shoots a spinning shield (you still have access to your normal shield) that will go off in a direction until you press special again, which will slowly recall it. If you touch the shield it goes away until you press special again

There is no general strat, you figure out how to not die and you do it lol. It's a very complicated chaotic encounter.
In general you damage both and kill Asterius first

the usual build, as spammy said, is ares attack with athena special to get ME, then to get divine dash to actually use ME efficiently
it can work without the dash too, but the dash is what really makes your dps go through the roof
