It should honestly be just a flat damage increase. If it needs to go down to 20% a level thats fine, but it feels terrible to have so little options for the damage even if the increase is massive

It used to be my favorite weapon when I was just starting, but its become harder and harder for me to like it. The special feels bad to use and there isn't really a good aspect for spin or rapid jab builds

What is the barge of death with any amount of heat. There was no way I could kill the 9 massive armored enemies constantly hitting me for 10% of my health.

If you're running a Cast build like Poseidon sword or Hera bow, make a point of dropping your Casts, running around, then getting them back to repeat.

It's all burst damage and high mobility to survive

i wasn't a new player this patch so i'm not super sure how the progression is, but it's my impression that getting past the first couple titan bloods is a bit of a wall

like you basically need to be able to consistently win the run to advance in titan bloods

the first boss only gives titan blood the first time per weapon at that heat level

so you can easily get 5

i just had probably my most effective build ever. rail with eris aspect (absorb special for damage boost), athena on attack and exposed on deflect, aphrodite on special and cast and weak foes take more damage, zeus on dash (no jolted), and artemis on call (no marked) which i was just firing off as often as i could. also i had hermes legendary--dash makes foes 50% slower, 3 duo boons somehow--crit chance after deflect, lightning strikes near bloodstones, and reduced foes' projectile speed (that one is pretty rad but actually didn't notice it a bunch with this build). Oh yeah my hammers were also great! attack deals damage in an area + staggers, and attack is faster and +6 ammo. .. let's see, artemis double cast and +overall crit chance, zeus faster god gauge, hermes +dodge chance and +3 dashes--oh! that part was crucial. basically i'd lob my projectile in first, lightning dash through the target and turn and hit it with at least one shatter shot then rapid fire backstab shots (with exposed on attack! lol).. then once the enemy turns to face you, dash through them again and repeat the process. oh and a raw 68% attack boost from chaos haha 😅 dude i even had charon's +30% attack damage and +1 cast ammo with 2 turns remaining because i got the well of charon literally the room before last in Styx lol. i even had aprhodite and athena boosting my death defies lol. all but one of these is at least rare, most were epic, and my special, cast, dash, and call were heroic except for attack. the one common rarity one i didn't even specify because it didn't really contribute significantly to my build, it was just athena's deflect and damage revenge. and to be fair i did have god mode 28% which is obviously a huge help, but regardless i was clearing guys and taking minimal damage like i never had before. omg this is long af. i wish Hades had a build overview export option at the end of the run. several people have suggested that now, maybe that's a good sign 😄

@crimson geyser I'd be all for your suggestion if the way Hades was built didn't autofire too quickly. If you get Flurry Blade or Flurry Cast, it oftens double- or triple-fires on even the lightest of key presses.

I've heard this isn't as big an issue for controller, but it's very prevalent on MKB.

If you want to know how to most effectively spend the first 5 titan blood you can easily get before beating the game, I'd say unlock one level of Poseidon aspect, one level of Achilles, and one level of Hera. They all have impactful mechanics changes at level 1.

Poseidon will cause your cast gems to pop out if you hit the enemy they're embedded in with your special. Hera loads your cast gems into your next shot for massive burst damage. Both of them let you use your cast more and thus get more damage out of it. Achilles lets you dash to the thrown spear's location as well as recalling it, which you can use to close with the enemy or avoid large AoEs.

I have great success with it, if u throw the shield and then attack enemies in the direction you sent it off you can do a ton of damage

Hera's aspect is such a trash, like really.

Fires whatever amount of casts it wants, despite the one you loaded in.

The cast ammo count is broken as well.

honestly never had that issue, its by far one of my favorite aspect right now

seriously crazy damage output with artemis crit chance on base attack

i mean Zeus is not complete trash by any means, it's just pretty frustrating and unrewarding to utilize properly

my fav so far are Hestia gun and Poseidon sword

I havent tried hera's yet, but homing arrows I destroyed with, got the upgrade to shoot more special arrows and stacked a bunch of crit effects

if you want to annihilate mobs look for poseidon or zeus for their cast

I'm in the process of building ares/arte with hera cast so I can melt things with blade rifts

If you hit with your arrow shot, your special will home on the target for a while

I wanna try and aphrodite build focused on charms

Try and have mobs clean up their own rooms for once
