If you want to submit to Team Hitless, you have to follow their rules (for either damageless or hitless, there is a difference and you can choose which one you want to run). But remember, you can also make your own rules if you just want to do hitless runs for fun if you don’t like their rules for whatever reason. Of course you can’t submit it if you do that but it doesn’t really matter. I didn’t submit my hitless run

Unlike most roguelikes it does tell a complete story with a beginning middle and end, but the middle is kind of just "you get stronger", with no big wins for the antagonist(s)

so like, losing one of the liberation rites is a serious low point in the narrative, and winning a later rite to liberate the character you failed to earlier feels fantastic
In hades, death is always accompanied with a slew of new upgrades so it ceases to feel like a narrative setback very early

In Styx there are 5 passages, and every passage after the second has a chance to contain the Satyr Sack which is the item that lets you leave and fight the final boss. The odds of getting the sack in the second chamber is around 52% I believe

- It afflicts weak which actually is very helpful
- It has the biggest % increase so it’s actually the best damage option on a lot of weapons
Weapons with decent base damage are generally great with heartbreak strike

Also the game is fine on switch from what I know, I don’t personally have it but it’s pretty stable and has no issues, aside from like maybe some minor frame drops if you have a lot of particles on screen etc, just what you’d expect

Heya, was wondering if I could get some help solving an issue I'm having regarding character favors? Playing on switch, I've completed upwards of 25 escapes, at least once with every weapon, and with most of the hidden aspects, yet I cannot for the life of me figure out how to advance the locked hearts of Nyx and Chaos. I have raised both of their affinities to the max they can be right now, but I'm getting no new dialogue from Nyx at all regarding the Chaos situation. I'm also not seeing anything new to do with Dusa, whose affinity is maxed but a bond has not been forged. I've tried dying in runs over and over to exhaust unique dialogue but still no mention of Chaos, or mention of the related house contractor request. Runs where I fully escape do not appear to advance things either. Can anyone suggest a fix?
As an aside, I have petted Cerberus 50x at least while I could give him (them?) no further nectar, but the heart does not appear to unlock either, after many runs.

If you optimize your damage and look for good synergies you'll pretty much shred rooms and have an easy time in bosses, that is better than playing safe and deflecting and whatnot
