For Guan Yu it's best to go for a Special build with Charged Skewer, a spinny build is fine but it requires better play and it's less dmg in most scenarios, you want to get to used to using your Special followed by 2 Dash strikes, and spin between waves to heal
Quick Spin Breaching Skewer Massive Spin, are good second hammers, your first one is what matters most tho

Well, Guan Yu is still one of the best aspects for no-hitting a run. It's very popular for Pierced Butterfly runs because of that.
Just especially at higher heats, you can no-hit pretty much every chamber then make 3 mistakes in one room and you're dead lol.

Kind of. I usually have one bloodstone loaded at all times, then load additional ones only when necessary mid-rush.
Also for bosses especially, you often want to load all bloodstones but one, then load the one immediately after to get a second Dragon Rush right away.

Hi, I got hades a week ago and I have got to the point where I get to the 4th area constantly but I keep losing. In one run I use 9 death defies and still lost. Got any tips or am I just so bad that no tips will help :(

First of all if you only got it a week ago not having beaten a run yet is completely normal

the shield guys you want to get behind them
dont even bother attack them head on
if you stay mobile and dodge their attacks, you can get behind them or to the side
theyre pretty slow and their shockwave attacks are pretty easy to see
so you can just avoid them and stay back while you clear the other enemies
giving you plenty of room

Yesterday I beat the game for the first time and unlocked the heat system - I beat it with shield so I got titan blood for that
However, will I get titan blood for defeating the final boss with other weapons even if I turn up the heat level to 1? or will I get only heat 1 rewards then
