You need to be past the credits, and you need to have given 5 Nectar to Thanatos. Not sure if that's required to start the "quest", but you'll need that to unlock the heart eventually.
There's a bunch of dialogue you'll see before you unlock it.

Heck, doing a fresh file to credits run, and while I don't think I'll ever get out on run 1, I did make it out on run 2. Then on run 3 it threw a 5 sack at me and had Dad summon barrier crystals and shielded grabbers. Styx was bad enough, but that was rough.

Muscle memory is seriously hard to fight. I spent hundreds of runs reloading Hesita with left stick click and then I noticed it messed my left stick. I got a new controller recently and im trying to reload with the right bumper and interact with the right stick click and I'm certain this is more logical but my fingers are still doing what they did before 😢

The strenght of this aspect is that you don't need many boons. Heartbreak strike hits hard and provides weak, allowing you to face tank a lot of things. Try to get smoldering air for more damage, and either hyper sprint, greatest reflex, or second wind (with SA) from hermes. Pick up some hearts and you'll be gucci
also, shadow slash and breaching slash as hammers
double edge is ok but I find it boring because you might as well play Nemesis

the way the dialogue system works, you can push back dialogue you wanted since all the game really does is check and see if you've met all the requirements for text and puts that in your available pool of dialogue that can come up, but yeah as alma said you can't get locked out of things
