A lot of it is great mechanics, but also just hoping for the run that lets you do as few rooms as possible.

E.g. the time difference in a run that gives you like... midshop -> miniboss -> patty -> fountain -> thanatos from rooms 30-34 is already going to shave a huge amount of time from a run, without you doing anything.

The first arounf 75% and the second around 100% with upgrades using the fruit. So do I have +175% damage or does it calculate the damage once, then calculates it again with second boon and have it add that way?

If your goal is speedrun, you want em2 (way faster lernie fight) and FO1 for faster bad guys spawn (tight deadline optional, good for igt bad for real time) but yeah work your way up to it
