You need to give them enough Nectar as well, I believe.

Also, the fish one is hard - You need to get a Legendary fish in the run you talk to him (before talking to him), on top of the 12 or so you need to please him. I think just the Legendary fish is needed in the same run, but the other 12 can be done over all your runs, but I'm not sure.

Personally, I just played the game to enjoy the gameplay, and was pleased as the quests began to resolve around me

I've been going on 5 hours, I've had the gods maxed up to the locks for a while now, before I started today

I've gotten 1 heart unlocked and I've done all the prerequisites to unlock the hearts

Its just annoying I can't see the epilogue

It seems fairly clear that the developers made a conscious design choice to have the various storylines progress in a very naturalistic way. There's something like 30k lines of dialogue in the game and the devs don't want people just rushing to 100 percent it whole skipping most of the character dialogue.

for example, poseidon is an easy one if you havent done him already because you can keep a fish in your inventory instead of turning it in to the chef and then start a run with his keepsake so he will trigger the favor dialogue, and artemis just requires talking to her over and over again

I understand the completionist mindset, but this is a game that's meant to feel like characters leading their lives with special interactions being things you have occasionally. Not a subquest in an rpg where you do N steps and get a reward immediately.

quick question: When you use the anvil (the thing to reroll a daedalus hammer for 2 different ones), if you get boons youve never used before, does it clear them off the prophecy? Or do I have to specifically choose them when they are offered to me
