If it's not the first 3, the 4th bob is always a fish. Makes it a lot easier. You can also put a thumb on the bobber to only focus on the flash and not get faked out. That's also a much easier reaction.

They added just ~2 more boons to Master Chaos's boon pool for awhile in Early Access, and it hurt especially Cast and crit builds a lot because those rely a lot on getting specific boons from Master Chaos.
Seemed almost impossible to find any Grasps (+1 bloodstones) for Stygian Soul builds, for example.

I think the evidence is very clear that Dusa was Medusa. Just the fact alone that Hades invited her into the House and made Lady Nyx her direct supervisor proves she was a figure of some considerable importance before coming to the Underworld.
But we don't really know much beyond that.
If I remember right, Lord Ares has some dialogue that Zagreus killed living beings for the first time after he makes it to Styx... so that would mean the Gorgons in the Underworld are not considered to be alive.

also i think a lot of this is down to player interpretation of available information canon presents. i personally think there is a difference between shades and creatures of the underworld, and that creatures of the underworld are not automatically shades. shades are for the most part shown to resemble humanoid features, even wringers are said to be the hands of thieves, compared to things like brimstones that are created of highly concentrated amounts of specific emotions. of course this is also down to your own interpretation of what constitutes a "shade" in the game, but to me, shades are beings that were human, or based more solidly on human features, while creatures are more abstract in their origins
in this differentiation i see gorgons are underworld creatures, not shades
you are right in that ares remarks on zag's doings closer to the surface and comments specifically on bloodshed of the living, but imo this is still up to personal interpretation and how "Alive" you think a being of the underworld is compared to a being on the surface
if you're looking for an answer based strictly on canon information then there isn't really anything presented in dialogue that will give you 100%
basically my feeling is summed up that not everything you fight in the underworld is considered a shade

The only one is Strong Drink. It's really good if you get it early, even if you only see the fountains at the end of each biome.

They're a small team. Merch design etc. takes time away from other things.
They focused on polishing up the game and getting everything ready for the console launches and stuff, and then took a well deserved vacation.

The strat is to get 5 Gods in your god pool in tart, by having 3 gods before tart midshop, getting a mystery boon in tart midshop and then having a miniboss after it that's a different god than the mystery boon god
