you know, i kinda agree somewhat, but the thing is we have 24 aspects, each with mostly different one or two builds each. so even if you succumb to the meta builds, you still have some variety
and i guess hades lets you reroll and manip rng more than others
so you miss out on the accidentally great synergies like in isaac. on the flip side, it saves you the pain of going through a no damage bad rng run

the control to me is a bit clunky, and you can get one shotted easily later on on environmental hazard
also, the game is just dark, like, literally, it's just dark, some area I couldn't see crap.
the camera is also too close to the character imo, so you can't see the overall battlefield, which to me is kinda problematic for a bullet hell game.
