Once I intially put the game down, I picked it back up and I couldn't mash without hurting my arm, I guess I'm smoothbrain and learned to play the game wrong, but bow felt less mash-y to me and comparatively that's a relief.

I've been experimenting with stubborn defiance recently, what are some of the upsides? You can spend more time with ares death defiance buff for one, and when you use lots of lasting consequences I know it's also really helpful, but is there anything else i'm missing?

Here's a quick guide on his second phase: When you get to the final phase you should play extra careful, whenever you see hades begin an attack dash away, in the first phase you can deal with the laser attack normally, dash behind him as he shoots lasers, but in the second phase you should hide behind the two rocks on the left and right side, when he spawns pots you should use a cast or a dash to destroy them, make sure you have something like athena's dash and make sure you don't dash attack, or you can use a call like poseidon or athena's call

I haven't swung by in a long ol while and haven't played Hades for quite a while either- have there been any changes or updates which might affect the endgame darkness grind? Last time I was playing, I'd completed everything but the darkness ranks, and calculated it would take me about 110 runs (or 13 hours of straight gameplay) to get enough for all the ranks.

I know there probably isn't any recognition for the 100% but I kinda want to do it just for my own sense of achievement ^^

generally any achievements that can only be done once per save file, like narrative-related ones, will be retroactive, while achievements that can be done at any point in a run will need to be done again 0:

Can you miss out on earning a bounty? Say doing Heat 1 and not having done Heat 0? I can go back and attempt a 0 Heat run for that bounty eventually right?

you collect bounties from your lowest available heat. even if you skip ahead to like 10 heat, you'll collect bounties from whatever your lowest uncompleted heat is

you can crank up heat levels one by one and collect bounties, or you can just skip ahead and continually play higher heat

Minor QoL suggestion, you know how in the victory screen, we’re given 5 slots for which boons we want to showcase in that screen, but the aspect of our weapon are never not in those 5 slots, the top slot is always for the weapon even when we technically can change it to show a 5th boon. How about the weapon getting it’s own slot somewhere else in the victory screen and we get one more extra slot for the boons?
