It is anti synergy with hangover boons because hangover effects overwrite previous effects. So if you put 5 special stacks on an enemy and then hit them with dash, the dash hangover overwrites the special hangover

IDK, I personally think the Attack/specials are all in a fine place. I could see an argument for buffing hangover effects slightly, but even that doesn't feel super necessary to me. The dashes are the only primary slot where it seems like some gods have vastly better boons than other gods, across all weapons.

ya. Artemis buffs are midling without other damage buffs. With other damage buffs, artemis is the highest expected damage, followed by aphro, followed by the rest in varying order, but things get pushed around depending on supporting boons and stuff

I assume the the unskippable portions mask load times, especially for weak hardware like the Switch. Maybe it's unskippable across the board for consistency?

That's true, but if it's decided to be unskippable on PC, it's a change they don't have to account for when they port it. I think they tried to make every version as similar as possible to make porting as automatic as they could. Even the menu button with the red arrow, like you see in charon's wells or other menus is present on Switch even though you can't use it, you just press B to back out of shops

I do agree it would be better if they accounted for those differences between versions. I'm not excusing it, just explaining what I think happened

Yeah, one of my issues is that a lot of characters run out of dialogue well before others do, so I'm waiting around not talking to anyone anymore, waiting for someone who still wants to have a long conversation

My problem is that I read too fast & I’m very impatient by nature so having to wait to listen to the dialogue gets annoying since I’ve already read it by that point ia_think_thonk

once you get good at the game, hypnos is a character who you wont see a lot of dialogue from because a lot of his dialogue is when you die to enemies. i recently died to an enemy i havent died to before and got new dialogue

you can do that with every weapon for 0 heat and 1 heat. When going for 2 heat whilst 1 heat bounties aren‘t completed you will get darkness instead of the bounties you already got until you get the last bounty and fully complete 1 heat bounties
