Even 15% damage resistance is really good

it is very easy to react to the bob, however, you need to react to the right bob and because our brain has to process whether or not it is the right bob, our reaction time is slower. There's a way to get around this. The time between when you start fishing/fake bob and the real bob, is faster than the time between start fishing/fake bob and fake bob. If you learn this timing you can prepare to react to any movement on a short amount of time but if it passes this time you can relax because it will always be a fake bob.
that way you cut out the thinking part
