Plus, you dont have to really practice these things before speedrunning

@upbeat lodge if youre new to the game, i wouldnt recommend pouring all your blood into one aspect only, but rather to try out different ones. Eitherway, chiron is always a solid investment, especially if you can get it to lvl 4-5. the build for chiron is artemis special with aphrodite attack, and to go for their duo boon named heart rend.

there are lots of other fun chiron builds too, but that one is the best

dio special, demeter special etc all work on chiron

If it could help, I don't rely on sound at all. I use the light that appears when you fish. Cover the part that is submerged in water with your thumb then when you see a light flash, hit the capture trigger. It usually gives a perfect catch for me. :) good luck!

Flurry Jab is incompatible with Hades Aspect as well as Guan Yu, they are meant to be focused on Spinning or using your Special, the reason people find the spinning mechanic bad is lack of use and knowledge, with enough experience people have cleared insane heats with them.

There is a huge amount of dmg that comes from bull rushing with beowolf, and on Trippy flare especially early on you might have a lot of downtime on your cast where you'll want to finish off enemies rather than wait for another cast to regen, so I would say yes, for best performance, but its very usable without fully upgrading the aspect

But yeah, some Cast builds are more demanding to optimize.

But they're also universal. If Cast builds didn't require much commitment but were as strong as they are, you would just be running Cast builds on everything instead of utilizing the aspect.

so the basis of this genre is to play again and again to get stronger and stronger, but also more skilled as you get to know how things work and which choices to pick

Yeah. Failure is a part of the gameplay loop. In fact, it's most likely going to be your method of progress for quite a while. Collect Darkness, Gemstones, and other pickups in order to progress. And make sure to talk to all the NPCs you can.

The only currency that you lose when you die are Obols (those gold coins you spend at Charon's shops).

If you're looking for the Poseidon boon that increases Darkness and gemstone drops then its better to go casually with your build in Tartarus and fill in those core boons then picking Poseidon Keepsake for Asphodel
