These one are good even with minimum investments:

Sword: Poseidon

Spear: they're all greedy, stick for Hades tho

Shield: Zeus, just don't pick special boon which boost damage early on, that means no Arte, Poseidon and Aphro

Bow: 4th bow with special build only need minimum investment

Fists: Talos

Rail: 4th aspect only need minimun investment, it's special sucks IMHO. Other aspects are greedy

a big part of using the spear effectively is keeping a good distance

that way you have a better chance at seeing his attacks and knowing when to dash away

you also should absolutely watch out for the spin attack, it has a really big radius and as you may have figured out the hard way, does a lot of damage. especially if you have boiling blood

the damage really depends on your hammer build; if you got something with the spin attack you may wanna get aphro's call to sometimes stun him enough to fully charge your spin
if you get serrated point you might get aphro on attack or even athena on attack and artemis on dash; since getting athena's dash wouldnt really be good with serrated point

Just got this game recently and on my first save file, I picked hell mode. Then after watching some videos, I realized that the pact of punishment is available after your first clear. Should I just create a fresh file save? Or just go with it? I already have 10 hours and the farthest I've reached is 30 chambers (elysium) with 23-25 escape attempts.
