Yeah, but it's a slippery slope of how much RNG you can control. Though fwiw, in the Hermes Cup (real time Hades racing), they use a racing mod specifically to make sure players are on the same seed and 3 sacks in the end.

It's not actively negative, it's just that it won't negate that much damage since you're always taking damage sporadically from choking while dodging in stead of it being applied in bursts
