Because I'm currently off work as a stay at home dad until March and I get maybe a few hours a week to play

I CBF grinding blood etc again on PC

I think builds are way more important than mechanical skill though

The one flaw I found playing Hades is that unlike most roguelikes, there is no gameplay variety in run to run.
I suppose I can understand this somewhat. Hades is a roguelite and quite focused on the lite part

I think saying no gameplay variety is a bit harsh, but compared to most roguelites, the amount of items/boons in Hades is quite modest.

The game also gives you a lot of tools to manipulate the run RNG

But to me, that's actually a good thing - no item bloat

I don't recall how exactly the interaction went, but I think once you max out his nectar affinity, you'll be allowed to void his contract by talking to Nyx. She will then direct you to the documents room. After that you pay like 4 diamonds to release him ||

I reckon intentionally dying a few times in you runs is the fastest way to progress it if you're looking to get it done ASAP
