I've always seen Supergiant as a very experimental studio, you can see them improve and experiment with different things in every game they make
and I hope that they decide to experiment with sequels/prequels/etc. next with Hades
The devs have been pretty clear on here and other social media that this game will not be getting much new content after update 1.0, which is understandable
Watching the NoClip documentary, this game was stressful af for them and as they've said, they put everything they had into 1.0

I usually dislike most roguelikes (the only one I liked before Hades was Dead Cells, but I even ended up dropping that after 10 hours from that repetitive feeling) but with Hades, it feels totally different
Instead of just picking up items/weapons that do specific things along your run, you literally get to create your own weapon build using all the boon modifiers, so every run feels vastly different. You cannot get bored with the number of combinations and unique builds in this game!
