it's very much just front end difficulty, late game it just acts as a lack of flexibility
the only notable difference is ||personal liability, the hell mode exclusive heat option||
i can't blame him for thinking like that, but ||the difficulty system is very much tied to the gameplay loop, which makes hell mode not much different||
there is no "lower difficulty" bc ||being able to change the difficulty is the entire point of late game hades||

The secret is to get Demeter special because then on bosses you can keep them chilled whilst still getting Arctic Blast procs

Besides that, lure the Gigantic Vermin beneath the axes, they hit for 600 everytime, and that thing is extremely slow. Kill the Bothers as fast as possible because they will attempt to flush you out of the safe spaces, and potentially into the poison. Never stray farther than two dashes from the cure pools.

Going near them is risky from the front (they bite fast), but backstabs are effective. Also, if you happen to have Athena boons, the poison globs can be deflected and will no longer harm you.

Taking hearts not only gives health, but also improves percentage healing (like fountains, Defiances) down the line. Even Centaur Souls are sometimes worth it for that very reason. Increasing durability is never a wrong move in a rogue-like! I have a personal target of 200 health going into the Heroes fight, but that's a matter of preference.

If you keep running constantly with your hella fun build constantly, you'll just wear it out and be like "blargh"
every room when you're build is "complete" is the same. It's the adaptability of changing how you play -> that's what makes Hades so engaging.

I do really value Supergiant's games and want to enjoy it as much as possible, and one of my concerns is that I might just go out of content of Hades while playing it, by what I mean dialogues. I have probably ~ 200 runs, and unless you were gunning for dying to every hazard you encounter, chances are you'll almost always hear something new or interesting coming out of the river

I've had a lot of success with frost strike, provided you like your chances of Arctic Blast, but given the high speed and aggressive style of the fists; you're gonna want deflect in their somewhere for when you need to get in/out safely
