Can't comment on best, it depends on your playstyle. But, Hera Bow has its power fairly front loaded. You don't really need much other than just unlocking it.
So not best, but for good power with minimal blood investment, you can look to Aspect of Hera.

@inland linden sandbox variation Hades would take away from the inherent mechanics of the game (and what i consider SGG's design philosophy of player failure) but if it's really giving you trouble God Mode exists/watching youtube playthroughs which would be similar? There's many builds that you can discover that can give you considerable tankiness or damage sink to buy you time to learn/figure out Hades' moveset. I think that's half the fun of Hades, good luck : D

Regarding the cursed slash, yeah I do admit it looks a bit overpowered at first, and when I got it, that was the first time I ever had a successful escape attempt, but it does have the issue where it lowers your max hp and healing from other items, which makes you more prone to getting one shot (that's basically the trade off for lifesteal). It may seem overpowered now, but it will seem less so when you increase the difficulty.
P.S.: Even though I got to the last boss with cursed slashes, he still managed to take away a few death defiances from me cuz he cold 2-hit me

Happy to start discussion! While the trade off is a fair one, I personally think that lifesteal health restoration is out of place in the early game considering that health is found rarely, like with fountains and upon death (or in a trickle with the 3 health per room mirror upgrade). I totally agree that it would be balanced with runs with more heat, but it was jarring to get it that early

yeah, that's true. if you get it early on in tartarus for example, you clear that place in a breeze
and honestly, at this point I don't mind that so much. after all the runs where I kept increasing the heat, sometimes I think "man, I miss the time when I could clear every room with no worry in the world", lol
I mean... it's a single player game, sometimes a few runs that make the game look easy aren't so bad (at least when you first start playing the game)

Hey, I'm not sure if I should report this as a bug or not because it seems kinda small but I've found an issue where charging the spear (at least with Aspect of Guan Yu) will glitch Zagreus into places he shouldn't be, I'm not sure if it's purely a visual problem or not, but it stops soon after I release the charge and execute the attack

Yeah, for Dusa in particular, when you've started her quest (also called a favour), you'll get prophecy VAGUELY telling you what to do. Once you've finished that off, you can give her ambrosia and get a companion.

You mean the legendary? Did you know that certain boons have pre-requisites? i.e. you need to take certain boons in order for them to even have a chance to show up. Athena's legendary is probably the hardest one to get. It seems very rare.

today i will convert all of my gemstones to titan blood with the help of the wretched broker
i currently have 7847 gemstones: first step is to buy chthonic keys for 10 gemstones each -> i end up with 784 keys
second step is to buy nectar with these keys: one nectar costs 5 keys so i manage to buy 156 bottles of nectar
third step is to buy diamonds with all that nectar: one diamond costs 10 nectar, so i can grab 15 diamonds
fourth step is to use these diamonds to buy ambrosia! one ambrosia is 2 diamonds so i can only buy... 7 ambrosia bottles
fifth and final step. i trade the seven ambrosia bottles for titan blood. since it's one for one i get 7 titan blood
