i find the whole 'the gods cant hear zag but he can hear them' thing inconsistent personally. for the most part its firmly established they drop their boons, tell him something and move on, because they can't hear him even if he did respond. but the gifting kinda comes off as they do hear him sometimes. idk its up to interpretation i guess

I am wondering about the story implications of Hades.

If Persephone left because she's not a good person, then roguelike aspect breaks because Zag has no reason to go to her repeatedly.

If she is a good person, then either circumstances (aka Fates) or someone made her stay away from Hades and Zag for so long. Demeter also, for that matter.

I think final rogue-like aspects would be to get a reconciliation between the estranged couple

There are only two of the legendary final aspects in the game at the moment. The rest will get added over time. The other is on the sword. You usually have to invest more titan’s blood into a weapon and/or experience story conversations.

@foggy kiln I made a feedback post about how stubborn defiance doesn’t do a good job of being a new player crutch. Sure, it stops them from dying on normal rooms, but it doesn’t teach them about playing carefully to save the defiances for later in the game. It gives bad habits by making it sometimes optimal to play reckless, well, because you can. I suggested that it should get better the more rooms you go without using it, such as giving you more health or maybe even adding a chance to revive you without consuming the defiance

I also suggested a change for high confidence that gives you more damage until you take a certain amount of hits in a room

my most-fun run ever was actually before Family Favorite went in (Superstar update) and I had a 5-Olympian build on the Rail
