Yea true. I don’t necessarily believe it but there was that discussion around here a few days ago about the others aging faster once the human-aging Zagreus showed up. Mostly I think it’s a stretch but it is cute and explains some dialogue and lore references.

If you collect all 4 biome boss rewards on 0 heat, you can get them all again on 1 heat
if you replay 0 heat after collecting them, you will get Darkness. Same with 1 heat or 2 heat etc if you beat them as well

Besides the Fated List of Minor Prophecies, which is also super helpful
The game constantly encourages you to both challenge yourself and try new things, between the Pact rewards, the +20% darkness on random weapon, and the Fated List

They are super rare. I've managed to fish there successfully only twice, thanks to that legendary Poseidon boon that increased the occurrence of fishing spots. And of course the 2 times I missed them completely because I was already getting out of there lol

dying is important to the game, they would never add something that gives complete invulnerability
god mode is there for people who arent good at the game, are invested more in the story than the gameplay itself, people that just want to chill a bit, ect, but it wont make anyone invincible

Aeschylus in his plays links Zagreus to Hades. However, Hades didn't exist in Mycenaean Greece. However, in the dark period between Mycenaean and Hellenic Greece, Hades came into play and Zagreus was stated to be his son. However, when the Orphics came to Greece and adopted Dionysus as their patron, Zagreus and Dionysus became one and the same.
It does make sense the other gods didn't know about Zag in game as most of the players will also assume Zag is a made up character

I think they went on the record as saying that they discovered Zagreus at some point in their research and decided to make the story around him because he is such a relative unknown that there's no preconceptions of him in the common culture.
So they were free to write him exactly as they pleased without worry of blowback considering reinterpretations.
