@novel jacinth Athena's trial of the gods is nasty. Basically, the enemies start of immune and in a state where they auto deflect attacks sent their way. So if you are getting blown up it is literally them turning your strength against you. Generally speaking I try not to spurn her, but if you are getting another gods blessings try hanging back until you see the floating shields drop and you should be able to take them out.

Finally beat the game, even with all of its strange difficulty imbalances. Found the shield to be my favorite weapon, found that the end game levels were super easy compared to the middle level, even the last boss was way too easy compared to most others... So confused by this game's balance.

I think it's 50% max HP or so
so on normal, if you take more damage than 50% of your max HP, you would become impervious for a bit
on hell, you wouldn't, meaning that you could get one shot by continuous effects

I think a fairer option would be to allow the Feather and Butterfly to track your clear times/no hit clears even if you don't have em, i.e. when you go to change your keepsake the Feather and Butterfly would have upgraded stats, as if they were tracking your clears the entire time. That way you could switch to em whenever you feel like you need dodge or damage without having to carry em through the entire run.

god keepsakes really are the best. Nyx and Spearpoint are the only ones that come close to it
Nyx lets you be super aggressive since you'll heal way more than normal. Spearpoint is great near the end.
But god keepsakes letting you selectively pick out the gods you want + get much rarer boons from them is to nice to pass up, esp if you need athena by elysium or aphrodite weak debuff.

Idk how to help much. But if you ever need to know if the game saved, the pause menu lets you know when was the last time it autosaved. I also think the game could also have saves in the Steam Cloud. I'm not 100% sure, but jeezus.
If you remember some of the boons you got though, it's a bit of a start to maybe get back to where you last were. A little bit.

It's not Iframes as much as you're blocking everything in front of you when you bull rush. So you can just rush into an attack as long as it hits your shield and you take no damage
