You'll hit an enemy, they'll slam into a wall, watery blast, and pinball around from a chain reaction. Watery blasts will knockback other enemies causing them to pinball and entire room dies.

The discussion's went ahead since last time I checked. I wanted to say to the peeps recommending me Hera's Aspect Bow, I've got Aphrodite's and Artemis' cast boons and it looks really interesting, insane critical hit dmg, no kidding, but needs some extra work on speed and footing. Good news are I also got the ability to turn my normal attacks to well, normal attacks instead of charging, which makes things a tad bit better.
Trying it on my 32 heat run rn.

Man, lol 32 heat run can be tough. I am running out of ideas.
Chaos Shield won't cut it, then again I haven't tried it without the timer, just did the Hera bow without timer but sacrificed lots from darkness and health recovery items.

For me, the top tier weapons are definitely Achilles Spear, Chiron and maybe Hera's Bow, and Chaos Shield.

And if you have CRIT like I always did.
I ended doing.. 600-800 Dmg whenever it would crit from behind, it was sorta cool.

What I love in Achilles spear is that you can zap to and between and keep using dash if you want, perfect if you plan to reposition/confuse enemies, as you can throw it in one side of the map, dash towards enemies and go to the other corner of the room, have them follow you in a straight line, hit special to zap back to the spear and land it again on them with maybe an attack in the mix, assuming you also have boons and stuff.

I think it's a trial and error situation, I found the mortar to be sorta sad as well, until I got the " triple bomb" and started wiping rooms with it in mere seconds

I find with Athena, just like my girlfriend says, to work best with exploit - can't remember if it's the same thing, I don't think it is - and with Are's doom, it's basically game over.

The bosses do not have armor afaik, but they do have impervious for some seconds after dealing them enough damage.

||The three skeleton statues are a joke and a waste of time, I unlocked the first one and don't feel achieved the slightest. Dirty move from the devs in my opinion. Whoever thought about this without giving an actual reward is someone that deserves a good beating in real life. Aside that, the game is still in early access, so I assume, hope and believe, that they will put some sort of actual and useful reward, maybe somethign broken or interesting, to give an actual meaning for doing challenge runs like this. Doing a big thing like that and getting a pat on the back with a laughter is not going to make me sentimental and appreciative, it's simply just going to make me feed the one who thought about this the whole game on a flash drive straight in to their mouth.||

That isn't really what I meant, I must have been unclear.... After you max out, for example, all the things you need Keys for... The only use for Keys is with the House Contractor upgrade, or the Loung NPC. I would rather buy a Fated Authority as a room option from the House Contractor, and never get another Key again after I no longer need them
Also, I've been assuming the Fated Authority from Darkness maxes out at some point... Does it not?

I don't personally agree. The game has a LOT of scaling difficulty, so removing the chaff doesn't actually make the game easier overall, unless you WANT it to.
The other option, of course, is to make the contractor upgrades the same as the standard room rewards, but that would be the same result by a different face

I think the game is plenty hard as is, thanks to the well implemented Pact. Aside from agreeing with the suggestions that want ever more Pact options, I don't really have any suggestions to increasing the difficulty
I would certainly love more Pact options, but really... I don't like having useless things. Actually, ever, not just in games. Things serving no purpose bothers me, and I don't really why anyone would want them.

What determines how many times you can cheat death on a run? I have Skelly’s keepsake, which is only supposed to work once per run, but I usually cheat death 2-3 times before actually dying

Death Defiances determine that. They can be obtained before the run through the Mirror, during the run from Chaos/Athena/Charon's Wells/Patroculus, and Skelly's keepsake can be used
Keep in mind the difference between GAIN a Death Defiance and REPLENISH, however. Replenish is the more common form, and will only grant you a Death Defiance if you have already lost one

Hi all, new here, love the game! Now, a small issue: I know the Switch Pro controller spear bug is a known issue, and the current solution is to turn off vibration in the settings. But it would be great if Hades remembered that vibration is off, so that I didn't have to turn it off every time I run the game.

Buffed the two laggiest playstyles, put more monsters on the screen than ever before, and then GGG is surprised it lagged? I call bull, Poison and Summoners have consistently been laggy at the highest end, due to auras and infinite stacking respectively.
Just can't trust GGG anymore, this is hardly the first time they've spat clear nonsense and pretended it was real.
