The game is a lot about just learning your muscle memory and what enemies do, it took me like 15 times to beat Tartarus when i first started playing and my hard drive failed recently so i had to start from scratch, only took 6 times to finish the entire game.
Just keep playing and you'll get better, in that sense God mode is helpful becuse you can play each attempt for longer

Plus, Artemis' boons give way lower damage bonuses than others precisely because her effect stacks with +damage%

artemis' boon giving less damage is fine considering, just that out of all of the +attack or +special dmg boons work with all of the attack/special skills, except for ares/dio.
i get that technically theres the attack component and the debuff component is separate, but when the value is on the damage from that debuff, all of the special/attack boon bonuses feel like theyre focusing on the part of the ability that doesnt really matter

If a modifier says it specifically increases "Attack" "Special" "Cast" or "Dash Attack" or something similar to that, it will not increase poison damage.
If a modifier says "you do increased damage" and doesn't specify what it applies to (Eris Aspect on the Rail, Thanatos' Butterfly) it applies to all damage you do from all sources.

I had a 7 cast Ares/Artemis build the other day. Ares legendary plus all the buffs to rifts. It was kind of silly and nothing was a challenge.

Hades isn't like Tales of the Abyss, where if you miss any of several minor sidequests in the first 15 hours, you miss a sprawling and character-enriching sidestory that ends in tragedy.

Yeah, I never did that sidequest because some of the windows are so absurdly tight that if you don't sequence break at the EXACT right time, just completely kill any main quest momentum to advance the web you lost the whole thing.
I think at one point I said "...I am not slow-walking across this entire in-game continent for just lore."

I‘m wondering is there a way to refund titan blood like darkness. I tried the melee weapons and it's fun. It take me 30min to beat Zeus, however it take twice the time to use the range weapon. I tried to upgrade the range weapon with titan blood but I have used it all over the place. I don't want to be fixed on a particular weapon, is there a way to do it other than start all over?

@last shell for GreatShields, I usually have a Poseidon boon on my main attack, then just push them back into a wall, and wall slam them to death. Certainly works for the shield and rail that I prefer

Their AI makes no attempt to avoid getting hit by bombs, falling rocks, or the arrows that the statues regularly fire.

What you do with the rail is highly dependant on hammer upgrades, IMO. The big ones are Spread Shot, Triple Bomb, and Inescapable Blast. If you get Spread Shot, build into attack damage, if you get Triple Bomb build for special. Inescapable Blast is an amazing slow and makes dealing with fast enemies much easier, and it goes with everything.

Like when hitting with a basic attack it doesn't actually count a shockwave that is released when using your basic attack. So yeah, it's usually very clear cut

I haven't cleared final boss yet so I don't know if that's a trigger. Just wasn't sure what they were or if I'd missed their unlocks at some point.

yep. You have to start a game in hell mode. I did this for my first save ( i kinda love difficulties :p) but damn the last boss is tough x)

in hell mode, all ennemy have 25% more dmg and hp, every new room you have 20% more enemy, you can't have more than 2500 obsidian in styx's mirror

@native rose It's far from being a maximum heat pact, but it definitely makes a big difference in the difficulty.
You can add a bunch of difficulty options on top of it if you want

the worst bug i had was when i had the "all your benediction are epic" and i took at the same time the item that guarante me to have a higher rarety benediction on the last benediction ill got, and i only got "rare"

I like ares on attack for the spear, because it's got a really big dash attack AoE and you can slap doom on everything while dodging around

i think i'm doing something wrong or something, I've beaten hades with all weps EXCEPT the shield and that's supposed to be the goat wep

shield is about taking it a bit slower and safer, blocking an attack and then countering with a bull rush
you can block basically every attack in the game IIRC, including hades's big green AoE waves
so just take it slow and learn to block
