I barely got past the Minotaur on 90 heat (I accidentally forgot to reset my heat on my first attempt lmaoo) but I was somewhat surprised by how easy Elysium is on 0 heat. I tried 25 afterwards and did super poorly because I used a strat I'm not experienced with. XD

I feel like I'm missing something with hades that I didn't with other supergiant games

Not had much good luck today, got a bunch of interesting boons and upgrades but nothing that could get me to the boss of Asphodel and beat him,
Plus, I was having lots of lag that was costing me tons of health
(I have a pretty heafty gaming laptop and wasn't experiencing any lag at all until the update)
Then, a few attempts in, things were going well, the lag wasn't too bad, I had just beat Tisiphone without taking any damage,
At which point, my controller's vibrate function goes crazy for no reason and then suddenly stops responding to any inputs,
It was plugged in properly, the power light was on, it just wouldn't do anything,
It started working again once I unplugged it, used the keyboard to reset the game and plugged it back in,
But it has frozen up again a couple of times, at random, when I enter new rooms

You get used to things after a while, Danikov. It's okay! I think the average for most people to get past Asphodel is 30/40~60 runs or so.

I have just beaten the game again, but especially after getting many boons the performance just flies out the window. Am I the only one to experience performance issues after the update? I even hat to lower the resolution to 720p, but even then there were MANY fps drops and stutter

If I had Dionysus' wrath plus anything with Zeus' the game would just stutter tons regardless of the number of enemies, the issue is that before the update everything was fine

Poseidon boons are, can confirm, really really good in Elysium. So many of those enemies just DO NOT like being shoved away from you. Also there are walls. Blessed walls again! 😄

So, that final Elysium fight.. i was full Ares/Aphrodite with Artemis wrath and legendary aphro boons .. erh.. so each time i dashed they were automatically charmed, and just kept on hitting each others for 30 minutes straight, that was actually kinda funny

I don't remember the specifics and the boons I had (just now), but has anyone else experienced a seriously slow down in framerate? I'm talking about 10fps and pure mayhem on screen... I finished the run, but, that was one of the worst gameplay experience I had in a long time. Playing with a 1070 and ryzen 1600x I expected this game to hold up better than that...

Most of the problems seem to stem not necessarily from the demand of the game (though there can be a lot of particle effects going on) but from the video card not being properly assigned to it, or else OpenGL issues as in the first link I provided
Some people also see significant improvement just from running in windowed borderless instead of fullscreen

He also only shows up after chamber 10 in Tartarus, and after chamber...17 or so? I think? in Asphodel
Other than that though, it's random, and I don't know what the room bracket is for Elysium

Hi, I'm confused about one of the patch notes. This:
"Redesigned Dash: outmaneuver your foes like never before with this newly revised core ability"
This make it seem like the ability got better, but during my gameplay, it seems to be severely nerfed (can only dash twice, and there is a delay before you can dash again). Am I missing something? Is there some secret way to make it better?

I can say the dash was definitely not nerfed to make the game harder. It just needed some changes. With the new dash you can escape diagonally from skull crushers, which is already a great fix; it’s just a smidge longer than the old one cause of the slide.

Well, we used to be able to dash three consecutive times before the delay kicks in. Now we can only dash twice. Doesn't that strike you as a nerf? It does to me.
Ultimately, I will just have to "deal with it", but I'm finding it hard to enjoy the last update, when getting to the new area would have been a challenge prior to the update as it is, and now it is just worse.
