Depends on the max HP you have and how much you've unlocked in the mirror. I'd personally pick darkness, but that's mostly because I know I can survive a fight with Meg at 25HP. Worst case scenario, you die early but with lots of darkness and come back stronger.

posidon was often shown to mortals in a watery form that was blue-ish
