I've thought some more about what boons the other gods could give:
Apollo: Extra damage against enemies who have a bloodstone stuck in them, plus abilities to bring your stones back.
Hephaestus: a bunch of effects that leave trails of fire.
Demeter: effects that give heals.
Hermes: movement speed, longer dashes, extra money
Hestia: A cast that erects a wall in front of you, the ability to proc traps at a distance
Dionysus: abilities that make enemies drunk, making them move erratically
Hera: she's a tough one - maybe stuff that moves stuff towards you? Or summons friendlies onto the field

@void vigil Oh yeah slow effect for Dio makes a ton of sense! For Haphaestus, I'd want him to give boons, not just weapons. He's an Olympian, after all, and all the other Olympians give boons (so far). And whole he's the god of the forge, he's also the god of fire, so fire effects would make sense

Hephaestus based on what @brisk trail was saying earlier (crafted Zeus lightning and what not) could maybe instead of new weapons offer upgrades directly to your blood stones, boots, armor, weapons, etc. Instead of just sharpening them or making you faster or something though... Perhaps he could "unlock" them. What i mean by that is that normally, it appears you can only get one boon per ability. Hap would override this allowing you silly stuff like Poseidion/Zeus cast that chain lightning everyhing in the blast radius and push them back.

I imagine him having dialogue about how the other Olympians are basically meddiling with his work to show off and limiting its true potential and how he won't stand for that.

New idea:
"Honestly, Coronaught was called the heart seeker because it did just that. This bow... I. Understand artemis, but you let my wife touch this didn't you? Hey hey! That gives me an idea! I just rework this here and there ya go. That's the weapon i remember! I took the essence of those two boons and reworked them so now it'll be like it used too. "

So in layman terms. Hep would offer unique power ups to weapons by sacrificing specific boon combination. Based on what you give up, he will give you a new Legendary ability.

Ares' Dash seems a lot better now that it no longer takes away your ability to actually dash. But I wish the blade vortex would be created at the place where you dash to instead of from, so you could use it more offensively like Zeus' or Aphrodite's dashes

That's true, if a later update brought waves more people it might be good to switch things around while people adjust, but might not be useful to switch anything now.

Cast: increased base damage; added slight homing to base version

Oof. I think that's balanced, if the shield goes off screen you've just gotta fly by the seat of your pants. There should be more edgeless maps, and the special should be stronger with a cooldown

right now, they feel a bit fluffy. You have cast, regular, special, and dash. Cast is limited by multiple factors, and it isn't even that strong. Special can completely replace regular depending on your powerups...

The shield has a penetrating charge/block that is invulnerable during the charge as well. Then the bash is a perfectly viable replacement for the sword that hits harder. Then the shield toss is perfect for dodging away and rarely taking damage... They even buffed it...

I think the block function is fine on the shield, but the charge dash is just too op. It removes the need for dashes. Block charges are invulnerable, unless you're flanked fast enough.

you can block after the attack from holding it, and it's basically instant block frames. Then whether you fully charge it or not, you can hurtle 2-3 dashes worth of distance for way more damage. Through enemies.
