Everything depends too much on the dash strike mobility to be worth

(and on gilga's topic, I've seen some people play it bc it avoids the mashing issue)

As you can hold the dash button instead

I still love h1's gameplay but it def gets more tiring on the hands lol

Especially for Achilles/hestia

with the normal sword combo the specila caps how often you can dash, the bow dash strike charge does that too, i havent played much spear idk, isnt shield dash strike just the same as the normal attack, firsts dash is not amazing, rail does get alot more mobility with two dashes

you do move much faster in general with 2 dashes though

Fists need dash to reset their combo, and not having a second dash there makes it a lot harder to stay alive

Also, how Tf do you dodge hades spin without two dashes

Fists let's you keep unarmored enemies stunlocked easier/spear standing attack is slower

You also miss out on more uses of your dash boon

But high heat monodash is rough/FF monodash too but there's no other option there so

In Hades 2, you gotta do specific things to unlock those final hearts, and what it does, it's that it tells you sorta of what you need to do (but not straight up tell you).

So any % buffs you might have don't work on it

so i think i had 257% damage and then +80, so i think it was 300, 365 and then 800 damage for the normal combo if i hit from behind for the attack and then youd just subtract 80 for no hoarding slash, itd be like 220, 285 and 720 damage

and for 32 heat +20% foes/+15%hp is ew

but at higher is that or stuff like approval procces/mirror/em4 so might as well take that

Zagreus knows that he's going to fight Charon when he grabs it

He is not sorry, in fact about a quarter of the time he actually says

it’s really simple for anvil because it’s essentially just brute force going through options

until you settle with one

Anvil is one of few things that will let you quit the game after you buy it and load back in before having taken it

then you can shift the seed over by having cast stones hit the ground or summoning

or reloading or breaking pots but pots aren’t exactly available

whats the first part about cast stones? is it just shooting them at nothing and then it changes what you get?

they all shift it by the same amount so essentially to get a new seed you need to just do those actions one more time than the last

the cast stones hitting the ground shifts the seed over by a value

unsure what the value is but it doesn’t really change anytthing if you were to know how much

oh so like if i didnt shoot any cast stones before buying the anvil and didnt get what i wanted i could exit, shoot a cast stone and what i would get from the anvil would change

The answer is usually refreshing nectar (rarity boost for 3 next boons) unless you have high odds for a few boons that really really care about rarity to hit

if you are mostly using high base damage attacks use a high base dmgboosting god

aphro for instance

Tl;dr
Fast, weak base dmg hits = go for zeus/dio who add an effect to each hit of your weapon
Slow/high base dmg = go for Aphrodite or Artemis that add a % buff to your weapon instead (or crits instead for arty)

If you have the boon index upgrade you can then go from there looking what synergizes with your starting god
