Situation-dependent. You'll get more value out of the death defiance refill (50% heal upon death as opposed to 30% healing), but it also costs far more to compensate

I mean I've been pretty successful in just looking for him to do the lunge attack he does and just dashing through him so you end behind him.
It feels weird to just say "don't get hit" but it's very dark souls in the fact of 'you kinda gotta just get your butt kicked several times in a row before you know how to dodge everything'

I'm writing to you as it has been a significant interval of time since my last journey through the Underworld of Hades, and as I realise the full release of Hades II is drawing near, I wish to start a new fresh playthrough of Hades 1 and would like to relive the journey of Zagreus yet again. Unfortunately, I have used all 4 save slots, and I do not wish to delete any of them. Is there any way I can overcome this obstacle and find out yet again that THERE IS NO ESCAPE? This causes problems between Hades and the rest of olympus

and dash strike on rama charges at a reasonable pace
rama standing is 120 on power shot, dash strike is 80

it's a lot more fluid than walking up and smacking them
especially on bows, where you want to dodge an attack then charge up immediately

so for all bows, standing and dash-strikes do have the same base damage output, but dash-strikes fire faster, and are thus safer (and mean you won’t be knocked out of your strike as often)
