At that point you’re pretty used to the boon restrictions and run enders. You’ll have to start dealing with the loss of the mirror which means losing you defiance and second dash. Paired with no healing, tanky enemies and a tight timer. You’re essentially fighting against impossible odds.

The jump from 62 to 64 took a year or two to bridge if im not mistaken

tbh even though you have essentially nothing, there are some tweaks the game makes for the first run that actually do work in your favour (though unintentional)

like how you can only find Ares, Athena, Dionysus and Artemis

which means you essentially start off the run with a full god pool consistency wise

since there are no hammers for double edge, and no chaos to boost strike damage, you're kind of pigeon-holed into building towards Merciful End

and starting with a full godpool really helps with Merciful Ends consistency

And if you have played regularly with any level of forced overtime you gain bullet time

this might be more personal preference but since the game defaults Theseus's call to Artemis if you have all the gods you can see in your build

Hermes is also out of the question which is really bad but it does technically buff your ME consistency alongside hammers not being able to show up

Know you’re eligible for ME, and every single chance you get you should fish for the duo. If you don’t get it, grab impending doom and divine dash.

Asphodel:
Grab Athena attack and repeat Tarrtarus. If you see Zeus in any room, grab the call and get billowing call when you can.

Elysium and Styx:
Grab chronic coin purse and Acorn respectively.
Pray you get ME.
Once you get it, grab the important and complementary boons. And shred. And melt everything.
