Fyi mostly use your aids either during laser if invincible, or straight after laser

Each npc has their own favour that you have to complete before their last heart(s) will be unlocked

To finish the epilogue you have to have 6 of the olympians favours completed

If you want to check individual npcs favours I’d look them up on the Hades Wiki

Artemis strike + ares cast is really nice because you get the crit chance on strike with Achilles massive +% boost to strike, and their duo boon hunting blades really pushes your casts to the next level

So ideally you’d start with artemis’s keepsake to get her on strike

for hammers you want flurry jab first and foremost, and then either triple jab or extending jab

greatest reflex is good for extra dashes, but another route you can go with Hermes is hyper sprint -> rush delivery for a good global additive damage boost

There is also Merciful End with does use divine dash actively, where you would run doom on strike, then athena special to unlock their duo boon (the aforementioned Merciful End) and then get divine dash because you’ll be using it to take advantage of merciful end

Merciful End lets anything that deflects attack drop doom when it hits an enemy

So a dash strike hits an enemy, gives them doom, and then divine dash hits them and the doom immediately drops

It’s a pretty common build on all melee weapons, but achilles does just make better use of cast based builds

And you can typically find the boons just by having the gods in your god pool

Dark Foresight (the mirror upgrade) allows you to get more boons and obols overall so you’ll be able to hit everything more often

And then Fated Persuasion seals the deal on finding things usually

Although Merciful End is a bit less consistent then other builds because you need three cores instead of 2 for it to function properly, and you need 2 specific cores instead of any 2 cores like other duos

Whenever you take a boon from a god(dess), they’re added to your “god pool” for the rest of the run. Once you get 4 gods in your god pool, the game only shows you those gods

(Hermes and Chaos do not count)

And you can’t remove a god from your god pool once they’re in it

Essentially, by getting boons from 4 olympians, you cut down the odds of getting any given god’s boons from
1/8 (or 1/7 if you haven’t reached the surface yet), to 1/4
