Ughhggh soo I started Hades last year and got stuck on the last boss and ended up giving up back in like. Janurary. I turned godmode on to try and help but I rlly dont feel like dying over and over to get to a point to where im able to beat him. Idk I'm considering just starting over with godmode turned on in the beginning (I suck at dungeon crawlers and fighting games in general but I enjoy the storyline so I suffer for it 😭) but i also dont want to lose all the progress I have

Best was 1597 for Hades alone. Something around 6k on that run.

If you take Poseidon early he'll just offer core boons.

those unlocks don't necessarily help you, in the same way that having more possible gods in Hades is not necessarily a good thing.
the difference between roguelike with unlocks vs roguelite is that many of those unlocks are 1: permanent and 2: are active the whole run
this is why I personally do not count dying on run 1 to have the larger godpool (run 1 only has athena, ares, dio and artemis, whereas run 2 adds zeus if you beat room 2 on the first run, aphrodite and poseidon). as progression or an unlock, the game kind of just happens to reveal more mechanics as it goes on.

obviously there are ways RNG can screw one over, but until above 50 Heat there is usually always something one can do to win every run (someone beat 10 runs in a row of 50 heat a while back)

I'm doing it on heat too, so ig that makes sense? I'm really interested in unlocking the weapon aspects so I'm trying to do the clears with multiple weapons to get that. One thing that's weird that I'm confused about is, I did two clears with the sword, so I put two heat on for a run with it, but I'm not getting any more titan blood, ambrosia, and diamonds. The wiki says that I am supposed to get more of these rewards if I load the hit gauge to full, but that's clearly not happening. What am I supposed to do here?
