I think what frustrates me with some of the extra weapons is how sluggish they feel

In a game that punishes that in so many ways, especially with bounties

Well, you can special cancel to get the spins out faster, it’s not affected by lasting consequences, athena means you deflect a lot of stuff for safety, it hits quickly so strips DC and deals with JS well

You can play a lot more risky and therefore faster because health loss isn’t permanent

So TD3 is less of an issue

I mean sure you can do the boss without getting hit once but godamn it feels like such a waste of time holding onto hope for some hail-mary boon to save you and nothing comes of it.

Deadly strike lv6 for better attack damage which increased crit chance to attacking a marked foe by 15% for a combined total of 93%. Not 100% like I said but it was pretty good. Then minotaur rush.

Basically the idea was melt the armor with the insane damage from minotaur rush plus breaching rush, then attack the closest foe until I got a crit from the 15% crit chance, then attack the boss for a 93% crit.

It's rarely a big thing, but it's interesting.

But it's still fun to see

Yeah that's the thing, at some point you die a whole lot if you don't optimize your play

I'm really into playing fast. Being incentivized to slow down and use the charge to heal up is not my jam whatsoever

The trick is to not use the spin

Only special and dash strikes

... And dying a lot

nice and meaty hits. I don't know if I like how you will only ever want charged skewer on it though
