acorn negates the most amount of boss damage than any other defensive keepsake. it's more consistent and can easily save runs, especially at high heat. even at a casual level it's just solid and consistent
the damage you get from butterfly is just inconsistent. even on safe weapons, losing control of your build generally means less damage, which means longer fights, which also means losing the bonus if you do get hit. it's fine for like casual running if you're good enough at low heats, but it's just not consistent enough to be considered good

Random question, but am I the only one who actively likes Chiron
It's just a very versatile weapon that gets a lot of mileage out of flat bonuses, percentage bonuses, and stacking debuffs alike
And it makes bow special go from something I never use to something I use frequently
I suppose one could argue that it's just a worse Rama, but Rama is good enough that even a worse version of it is still very nice

i just kinda dionysus special every enemy and they take damage while I'm damaging other enemies so it's pseudo AOE for me.

and originally apollo/artemis werent gods of sun/moon, they had their own things. but then later they got merged with helios/selene and it so happened that Apollo and Artemis were the ones that stuck.
