basically, for athena's dash, any attack that would have hit you while your dashing, gets reflected back at the enemy.
And for deflect, it just reflects the damage back at the enemy
If the attack was a projectile, the projectile goes back to where it came from originally, faster

Same! It was the first rogue-like game i ever had in my hands. I usually dont spend more than 4 hour long sessions of playing, but with Hades ive seen days where 8 hours passed like nothing 💀
Though when youve spent loooots of time playing SOME areas and ennemies become repetitive, but its only normal at some point. The game offers much good things

The visuals, voice casting, their appearence, the dunamics are compelling

And the gameplay is sooo nice for my hyperactive brain. I usually struggle with maintaining focus, but this game put me in the "zone" for long periods of time. Very dynamic gameplay

big chariots you avoid by hitting them. Preferably from a distance because thay can't be stunlock indefinitely.

if they're armored, you scream in fear and panic until the armor is down

if they're armored and speedy and you're on FO2 you just die

I'm sure some superhuman with 60 years of meditation in a tibetan cave and cybernetic enhancements can deal with those, but I ain't them that's for sure
